The mental process used in climbing (aka the “mental game”) involves a process / practice that conditions the mind. Improving one’s “mental game” can, for some, improve one’s ability to: focus energy on priorities and let go of worries, not allow fears to unduly influence decision making, have a higher threshold for discomfort / uncertainty, be more more emotionally connected, have more confidence in one’s abilities to overcome, and be present. Climbing is a personal and multi-faceted experience in impacts people differently. For some, Satori can be found through climbing. Climbing is an experience that can be curated to match not only your on-the-rock goals, but also your off-the-rock goals.
